Brandon pointed out that it is actually called St. Ives. Well how's a wabbit meant to know that?

As I looked from high up on the hillside to the fishing village below I wondered about the scores of fishermen over the centuries who had helped to build and develop this picturesque town from what was once just a tiny harbour and a few boats,
I also wondered how long it would take to walk down there and if there was a free taxi service.

I eventually gave up looking for the free taxi and began the long walk down into town. I found the St. Ives Theatre, home of the famous MDCC Kidz R Us which is the favourite charity of a baking master known to the RT as Liz.
I'd heard so much about Liz's cakes through the MDCC and thought a baked paperweight or doorstopper would make an excellent souvenir.

I eventually made it down to the harbour and it was well worth the trip.
It was a scene of calmness and beauty apart from the flock of carnivorous seagulls that had attempted to snatch me several times. In fear for my life I took refuge in the nearest building ..... a souvenir shop.
I left with a Cornish Tea Towel, St Ives fudge and a porcelain thimble.
