Staying with Splodgums

I am spending a couple of months staying with Splodgums in Wiltshire. I have not stayed with her before. There's some good countryside around here and the locals seem to have an unusual habit of carving horses into the side of hills. I didn't see any rabbits - Splodgums says they only have horse ones here, although there is one of a rather excitable human man in a neighbouring county. Splodgums does not know why horses are so popular for hill carvings but she said she'll suggest a rabbit if someone does another one. We can see wild rabbits at the side of the road if we go for a drive in the early evening, but no monkeys or parrots - I wonder why that is?

Day 1

I was a bit worried when I arrived at my new destination, I could hear barking but it stopped before my box became still - it turns out that this is how Splodgums and Mr S are alerted to the arrival of the postman.

I met the maker of the noise very soon and she turned out to be quite friendly. I am
nervous about dogs in general but this one seems to like me and has not tried to eat me. (Her eyes are not really different colours, it's the flash!)

Splodgums and Molly showed me the garden.

I'm back!

I wish to point out that I have not been in Highworth the whole time since the last blog post. However, I have been here a while. I hate it! It's dangerous!

Look......

Anyway, I've been ransomed and I'm leaving this dangerous place, having raised money for Cats Protection this time (I'm not that wild about cats either but they tell me it is a good cause)

The Big Handover!

As you know, I like to do alot of good work for charidee during my travels. Last month I raised a WHOPPING £250.01 for the Petts Wood Playgroup for Children with Special Needs.

Louise took me to meet the children last week. I had fun, I learned some numbers and some songs and we played in the sandpit outside!

Here's me handing the cheque over to the Playgroup Leader.

I'm off on my travels again tomorrow - should've been today but AS USUAL Louise overslept so didn't have time to sort my travel bag out.

I'm well stocked up on chocolate, some sparklies and smellies and as I'm going to a wedding, Louise took me out to buy a card and present for the lovely couple. I'm sooooooo excited!

Get ready Cool2beacat! I'm acoming! :-)

Crop Circle Hunting

Himself took me and Skully Crop Circle Hunting the other week.

It was brilliant fun! Until the rains came and Himself locked me AND the keys in the car. Ooops!

Roadie? I'm a Laird!!!

Can you BELIEVE it? The band made me pack up their gear and haul it out to their cars!!!

Do they even KNOW who I am?

After John the Jug went round hassling the crowd to stick money in the pot though, the fools left me to look after it! Muhahahahaha!!!

Sex & Drugs & Rock n Roll!

Yeah baby! This Bunny was born to Rock!

Look at me! Right at the front :)

After a few bevvies I asked if I could sing. The band readily agreed but soon decided I might be better off drumming. They had their fingers in their ears while I was singing so I don't know what that was all about. As you can see I also had my first and last opportunity to smoke a ciggie in a pub!

Ole!

We stayed in beautiful Seville for a few days' holiday :)

The Giralda appears in most of the photos we took ;)

SOOOOO many shops, so little time!
